Before restaurant cars became common place on Britain's Railways, and serving all passengers and not just First Class, passengers would often buy food from Stations to eat on the journey - dating from 1910, this is a very nice original condition North Eastern Railway Light Luncheon Box made of cardboard with a very intricate design and containing, well a light luncheon!
